T-Shirt Tuesday: Band of Skulls

I am pretty lame when it comes to new music. One is I don’t have the time, and the other is I am pretty lazy on certain things. Also, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, right???? Band of Skulls isn’t exactly new to the scene, nor did I come across their music recently, but they consistently put out music I enjoy a great deal.

When I was making my way through Los Angeles in the Spring of 2010, I had no intention of going to Coachella. This was mainly due to my lack of money ($0) and I was awaiting to hear about a job, that never materialized. Thank you again Barron.

Fine upstanding gentlemen.

Anyway, one of my buddies mentioned we “had” to see Band of Skulls, and I was not in a position to say no. They were incredible live, and I was a bit scared they wouldn’t live up to it, as so many bands can’t. However, they were even better recorded.

I still listen to their music (and even PAY for it!) to this day. While they have some standalone hits, I find it’s best to listen to an album start to finish. Each song plays off the one before it, and leads into the next perfectly.

So when I was in the UK I had to buy one of their shirts. Unfortunately due to my travels and location of their shows I wasn’t able to catch them in their homeland. I am hoping to catch them on their next loop through the US. But this is a solid shirt, with a killer logo, from a great band.
